Balloon Cars

We have been studying the laws of motion in science and testing them out in the last two weeks. Yesterday, we tested Newton's 3rd Law of Motion: 

"For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction."

We tested this by building balloon cars to show that the force of the air in the balloon is matched by the force of the "car" moving forward. 

Science experiments are very loved in our classroom! Sadly, the cars didn't go as far as we wanted, but hopefully they can try at home too.
